Glyfada Beach Hotel, Corfu - how to find us
from the port
On leaving the port turn right and follow the road along the coast for one and a half kilometres until you reach a set of traffic lights. At these lights turn left and follow the main road for another one and a half kilometres. At the first crossroads turn right and continue on this road for about six kilometres. At Skorpios Supermarket turn left and follow this road to Pelekas. Continue through the village of Pelekas. Take the first left turn (after two kilometres and signposted Glyfada) and continue to the bottom of the hill. From there follow the sign to Glyfada Beach Hotel.
from the airport
On leaving the airport turn left and go to the first road junction at the end of the runway. Here turn left and continue as far as the traffic lights and the sign for Pelekas. Turn right and five hundred metres later turn left. Continue on this road for about six kilometres. At Skorpios Supermarket turn left and follow this road to Pelekas.
Continue through the village of Pelekas. Take the first left turn (after two kilometres and signposted Glyfada) and continue to the bottom of the hill. From there follow the sign to Glyfada Beach Hotel.
by bus
There is a regular Green Bus service to Glyfada from the bus station close to the New Port in Corfu Town. You can buy a ticket on the bus. Buses leave at 06.45, 09.00, 11.00, 14.00, 16.00, and 20.00. (A slightly different timetable operates at the weekend.) The journey takes 30 minutes.
by taxi
Taxis from the port and airport are more expensive than those from the centre of Corfu Town. However, no journey should be more than about 25 euros. Agree a price before leaving or insist that the meter is running.
by free minibus
There is a free minibus service from Pelekas to Glyfada throughout the summer. Buses leave the village square at 11.10; 13.30; 17.30; and 19.15.
